Hello and Welcome! My name is Sarah, the creator behind ReclaimHer Woodworks. I want to thank you for your interest in my work! I recently discovered my abilities in woodworking and have found it to be very therapeutic and rewarding. I started by making gifts for family and friends and was encouraged to share my work with others, like you! I like to work with reclaimed wood from a variety of sources to bring life and beauty back to something that might otherwise end up in a landfill or someone's fire pit. Instead, it can live again and be loved and enjoyed by all. My work is not limited to wood alone. I also enjoy working with glass, metal, and resin, which I try to incorporate into my woodworking, creating something new and unique. Most importantly, through my craft, I work on myself. I am the same as the pieces I salvage, battered and worn by life and time, waiting to be picked up and revived. As I find and retrieve wood to make my art, I restore the peace within myself.
